Overview

Simple Motion is a frame-by-frame animation app for iPad. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your data. The short version: it doesn't collect any.

Data Collection

Simple Motion does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no accounts required to use the app.

Your Creative Work

All animation projects, drawings, imported images, and video frames you create or import are stored exclusively on your iPad in the app's local documents folder. Your work never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it yourself.

You have full control over your files at all times. Your projects can be accessed via the Files app on your iPad and can be backed up using your device's own backup system.

Photos and Camera Roll Access

Simple Motion requests access to your photo library only when you choose to import an image or video into a project. The app reads only the specific files you select and does not scan, index, or store any other content from your library.

Photos and videos you import are copied into the app's local storage and processed entirely on your device.

Files Access

When you choose to import images from Files or export your animations, the app accesses only the files you explicitly select or the destination folder you choose. No background file access occurs.

Third Party Services

Simple Motion does not integrate with any third party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or cloud storage providers. There are no third party SDKs that collect data.

Children's Privacy

Simple Motion does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no social features.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted here with a revised date. Given that the app does not collect data, significant changes to this policy are unlikely.
